Representatives of Omega doo visited the Embassy of Slovenia in Sarajevo, and agreed on future cooperation and promotional activities on raising consumer awareness of GMO-free products, such as Zelena Dolina dairy products.

What does "GMO" mean?

Genetically modified organisms in which their genetic material (DNA) has been changed in a way that does not occur in nature.

For food that is marked with a label Non-GMO valid:

• The use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or their ingredients is prohibited
• The use of vitamins, aromas, enzymes and other food additives made with the use of genetically modified microorganisms is not allowed
• The use of genetically modified plants is not allowed in animal feed
